BYD Seal U 2025: New Battery Tech Boosts Range to 650km

BYD officially unveiled the 2025 version of its Seal U electric SUV at the Guangzhou Auto Show, bringing significant upgrades to battery technology and intelligent features. The new model adopts the latest generation of BYD's blade battery, which not only increases energy density by 12% but also improves safety performance.

The 2025 Seal U offers two battery options: 71.8kWh and 87.0kWh, with CLTC cruising ranges of 520km and 650km respectively. The dual-motor four-wheel drive version delivers a maximum power of 390kW and can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in just 4.3 seconds.

In terms of intelligent configuration, the new Seal U is equipped with BYD's DiPilot 4.0 intelligent driving system, supporting high-speed NOA (Navigation on Autopilot) and automatic parking. The interior features a 15.6-inch rotatable central control screen and a 12.3-inch full LCD instrument panel.
