NIO ET9 2026: 900V Platform and 150kWh Solid-State Battery

NIO officially released its flagship smart electric sedan, the ET9, at its annual NIO Day event, scheduled for delivery in the first quarter of 2026. The ET9 is built on NIO's new 900V high-voltage platform, supporting 5C ultra-fast charging that can add 255km of range in just 5 minutes.

The highlight of the ET9 is its 150kWh solid-state battery pack, developed in-house by NIO, which achieves a CLTC cruising range of over 1000km. The battery also features improved thermal management and safety, with a cycle life of over 3000 charges.

The ET9 is equipped with NIO's second-generation smart driving system, NAD 2.0, which uses a 192TOPS computing platform and LiDAR sensors to achieve full-scenario autonomous driving. The interior features a 16-inch 3K central control screen, a rear executive seat with 18-way adjustment, and a built-in refrigerator.
